• Offers general acute care hospital services. Inpatient and outpatient services for general and specific age, needs groups.
• Provides comprehensive geriatric services specializing in care for older adults. Services include: Acute Care for Elders Unit, Geriatric Fracture Center, and Geriatrics and Medicine Associates outpatient services.
• Offers inpatient and outpatient surgical and non-surgical services.
• Offers 24-Hour Emergency Unit.
• Offers urgent care. Includes: Non-acute emergency services for Pediatric and adult patients, x-ray and laboratory services, and capability of transfer to full service emergency department.
• Provides diabetes Healthsource.
• Provides dialysis Center. Hospital based acute and self care units, satellites.
• Offers physician Referral.
• Offers services and programs for those with gastric bypass surgery.
• Offers patient representative service to assist patients and their families in meeting their needs during hospital stay.
• Offers volunteer opportunities through Friends of Highland.
- Requires 20 volunteers
- 3-4 hours per shift 1 day per week
- Traning is provided
- Multiple roles are offered
- Offers Volunteer Opportunities to community members, which can be used to fulfill ABAWD (Able-bodied without dependents) hours
