Save Our Youth Project

thru: Action for A Better Community

Aims to reduce the incidence of shootings, killings, and other acts of violence using a public health approach. 
  • Identifies and engages high-risk youth in case management.
  • Conducts youth outreach. 
  • Prepares public education campaigns. 
  • Mediates conflict. 
  • Provide referrals to local agencies. 
  • Involves faith leaders. 
  • Have presence in the streets that neighborhood shootings occur. 

Eligibility: Ages 16 to 25 years, must reside in Northeast quadrant of the city, active in street violent lifestyle and high risk activity.

Application Process: Call, walk-in, or email for an appointment.

Required Documentation: None.

Fees: No fee for services.
