Youth Apprentice Program

thru: Rochester General College of Health Careers

Provides a one to two-year paid internship earning a high school diploma and a Certificate of Completion signed by State of New York attesting the student has had competency training.

Offers opportunity to visit healthcare institutions such as Johns Hopkins, Cleveland Clinic, Roswell Park Cancer Institute, and New York Presbyterian Healthcare System.

Helps participants become eligible for entry-level positions, such as:

  • Patient Care Technician. 
  • Pediatric Technician. 
  • Material Record Assistant. 
  • Respiratory Care Aide. 
  • Transporter and Lab Assistant. 

Eligibility: Students of Rochester City School District and the Urban Suburban Program.
