Mental Health Services


* Provides a wide range of direct services including:
  • assessment
  • counseling
  • individual and group therapies
  • medication management
  • treatment
  • rehabilitation
  • case management
  • crisis services to adults, children, and families with mental health challenges
* Provides court-ordered evaluations, hospital transport evaluations, services to drug courts, evaluations or monitoring of mental health services for jail inmates

*Provides a Domestic Violence Intervention program.

Fees: All Tompkins County residents can receive these services regardless of ability to pay, based on a sliding fee scale.

Tompkins County Mental Health Department**

Tompkins County Mental Health Department works in coordination with the Tompkins County Community Mental Health Services Board. Together, they are responsible for planning, developing, monitoring and improving a comprehensive system of community-based preventative, rehabilitative, and treatment services for individuals and families affected by mental illness, chemical use disorders, developmental disabilities.
