* Investigates allegations of child abuse and neglect received by NYS Central Registry of Abuse and Maltreatment. Services may include:

  • Foster care placement for abused or neglected children
  • Preventive Services for families in crisis to avoid foster care placement
  • Casework/referral services
  • Family preservation & support programs
  • JD & PINS programs
  • Foster parent recruitment
  • Foster parent training and certification
  • Certification of adoptive families for children in foster care
  • Adult Protective Services works with individuals 18 years and older, with physical and/or mental impairments, and no support system to help meet basic needs
  • On call caseworker for after hours emergencies

Eligibility: Resident of area served. Call for information.
