* Investigates allegations of child abuse and neglect received by NYS Central Registry of Abuse and Maltreatment. Services may include:
- Foster care placement for abused or neglected children
- Preventive Services for families in crisis to avoid foster care placement
- Casework/referral services
- Family preservation & support programs
- JD & PINS programs
- Foster parent recruitment
- Foster parent training and certification
- Certification of adoptive families for children in foster care
- Adult Protective Services works with individuals 18 years and older, with physical and/or mental impairments, and no support system to help meet basic needs
- On call caseworker for after hours emergencies
Eligibility: Resident of area served. Call for information.
