* Offers work-readiness training, along with Digital Literacy, and has Rosetta Stone available to support English as a Second Language speakers, as well as personal enrichment to learn another language.

* Offers volunteer opportunities.

  • 5 volunteers needed
  • Training will be provided
  • Light maintenance support
  • Willingness to gain basic literacy skills and provide instructional support on their own skill level
  • Can be used to fulfill ABAWD (Able-bodied without dependents) hours

Eligibility: New York State residents age 17 years and older. For the volunteer program, as required by ABAWD.

Required Documentation: Call for information. For the volunteer program: the completed enrollment, notice of Decision (receipt of Monroe County DHS or benefits), submit TANF Services Application or TANF Youth Services Application.

Fees: No fee for services.
