Eligibility: Resident of area served. Alleged discriminatory act occurred in New York State within one year prior to filing complaint. Willingness to cooperate during investigation.

Application Process: Call or visit website. State, and sign (or e-sign) complaint of discrimination. Complaint form available on web site or mailed upon request.

Required Documentation: Photo ID may be required for notarization.

Fees: No fee for services.

Coverage Note: Allegany, Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Wayne, Wyoming, and Yates Counties.

Covered bases are age, creed, marital status, family status, source of income, pregnancy, sexual harassment, military status, national origin, race, color, sex, sexual orientation, transgender status, disability, arrest record, conviction record, genetic pre-disposition, and domestic violence victim status.
