* Helps moms while they are in Monroe County Jail, state, or federal prisons, and when they get out.
  • Must attend the New Journey support group for one hour weekly.

Cultural Competency BadgeCultural Competency

Eligibility: Mothers with children up to age 12. Incarcerated or released. Recently released - applying to our program within 6 months of their last release date.

Application Process: Mothers may write to JPC Director Shermond Reid, 200 West Avenue, Rochester, NY 14611. They may call 585-325-7727 at no charge, or call 585-202-0017, Jeanette Creighton to learn more and complete the intake process.

Required Documentation: Photo ID.

Fees: No fees for services.
