Youth Employment Services

thru: City of Rochester Department of Recreation and Human Services

Offers youth programming assisting in developing interpersonal and professional skills needed to succeed in the workplace, including:

  • Beyond Employment Skills Training (BEST)
  • Snack and Learn Sessions
  • Annual HBCU Tour
  • Annual Youth Resource Fair
  • Summer of Opportunity Program (paid jobs and internships)


Eligibility: Resident of area served, ages 14-20 years old, who are enrolled in middle school, high school, or a TASC program.
