AmeriCorps Senior Program

thru: Lifespan of Greater Rochester

• Provides volunteer placement for seniors in local non-profit organizations by working with the volunteer to help them find volunteer opportunities which fit their interests, availability, and skills.

• Offers Volunteer opportunities.

Training will be provided
Requires 2 hours a week, depending on the program
Requires 5 volunteers
Can be used to fulfill ABAWD (Able-bodied without dependents) hours.

Eligibility: Ages 55 years and older. Resident of area served. Volunteers: Must pass a background check, including a criminal record and driving record. Personal references.
