• Assists with planting, watering, mulching, seasonal cleaning, and general beautification. Opportunities are flexible and help maintain the neighborhood green space.

Capacity for 20 volunteers
2-4 hours per shift; flexible based on volunteer availability
On-site guidance and basic instruction
Volunteers will work inside of the 19th Ward, City of Rochester
Fully wheelchair-accessible community garden with raised accessible beds. Welcomes volunteers of all abilities and offers inclusive opportunities for individuals with disabilities
Can be used to fulfill ABAWD (Able-bodied without dependents) hours.

Eligibility: Volunteers should be able to work outdoors, perform light physical tasks such as bending, planning, and weeding.
